Our Services
Where possible, we like at least two working days’ notice for journey requests.
To request a car journey please telephone us on 0118 9883400 between 10.00am – 12.00 noon on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday mornings.
You can always leave a telephone message requesting a non-urgent booking when the office is closed. Don’t forget to include your telephone number and we’ll reply to you the next time we’re open.
Once we receive your request our Bookings Team will try to find a driver for you and then phone back to confirm your driver’s name and pick-up time.
Don’t worry, we’ll keep trying until we reach you.
Wheelchair users
Our drivers use their own cars. Some are suitable for carrying portable, folding wheelchairs or walkers that will fit into the boot of a car. We regret we’re unable to push clients in their wheelchairs.
Travel Companion
Drivers are happy to assist you with a steadying arm but if you need to be helped in and out of your chair or the vehicle than you need to arrange for a Travel Companion to come with you at no extra charge.
What does it cost?
Wokingham Borough Council will subsidise the cost of most medical journeys for clients who hold a current Wokingham Bus Pass - click here for more information about Bus Passes
We request a small donation as a contribution to our running costs for journeys not covered by Wokingham Borough Council.
